Video Levels
All video signals should comply with ITU-R BT.709-5 and video signals should not exceed the specified limits.
Video levels should not exceed 700mV, or fall below 0mv
Luminance (Y) -1% and 103%
(between -7mV and 721mV)
RGB video levels -5% and 105%
(between -35mV and 735mV)
Out of gamut tolerance
Whilst XR and the Broadcasters will reject illegal video levels they understand there may be instances where it is difficult to completely avoid, and following EBU recommendation Rec.103-2000 will allow a small tolerance, assuming that no more than 1% of the active picture is in error.
Title Safety
EBU R.95-1
All graphics, text, and frame composition elements should be placed within the safe title area (90%) to prevent key content from being cut off.
Audio Levels
The loudness level of the programme material must be in agreement with the EBU R128-2014 directive, including the following delivery specifications:

• Integrated Loudness Program : between -23LUFS and -24 LUFS
• Maximum True Peak : -3dBTP
• Maximum Momentary : No Limitations
• Loudness Range : 8 LUs

Subtitles/Closed Captions
If you're supplying your own Closed Captions, please follow the above file specification with EIA-608/EIA-708 embedded to the file.
If you require Closed Captions to be added by XR*, please follow the above specifications and provide the script for the CC production and insertion. This service adds one hour to the standard Service Level Agreement.

Audio Description
Audio Description (AD) makes content more accessible to individuals who are blind or visually impaired.
Please refer to Audio Channel Configurations for the correct channel layout.
If you require Audio Description to be added by XR*, please provide a low res file so we can create the script for your approval before creating the AD. This service adds 48 hours to the standard SLA.

Sign Language (Libras)
Sign Language makes content more accessible to individuals who are deaf.
Add the layer on video on the left or right bottom of the screen
If you require Sign Language to be added by XR*, please send the low res file so we can create the interpreter recording for approval. This service adds 72 hours to the standard SLA.
*Extra cost will be applied according to the local price list.
Clearance
The clearance process has to be manged locally between a Brazilian production house and ANCINE, the Brazilian Film Agency.
