The A5 Radio Platform allows broadcasters to receive, download, manage, and archive radio advertising assets and supporting campaign documentation.

The platform is divided into four main areas:

  • Inbox - Delivered audio and paperwork awaiting review or download.
  • Pending - Deliveries that have been ordered but are not yet available.
  • Archive - Previously downloaded or completed deliveries.
  • Preferences - Filename configuration settings for downloaded audio files.

Accessing the Platform

  1. Go to a5.xr.global 
  2. Enter your username and password.
  3. Select Log In.
  4. After logging in, select Radio from the main menu to access the platform.

Inbox

The Inbox contains all deliveries that have been made available to your station and have not yet been archived.

Search for Deliveries

Use the search bar to find deliveries using:

  • Ident Number
  • Agency
  • Advertiser
  • Product
  • Cart Number
  • JCN (UK only)

Understanding Delivery Status

If multiple versions of paperwork exist for the same delivery, the most recent version is marked with a LATEST label.

The Inbox also indicates whether:

  • Audio has already been downloaded.
  • Supporting documents have been downloaded.
  • Another user at your station has accessed the files.

View Campaign Details

To view additional information:

  1. Locate the delivery in your Inbox.
  2. Select the arrow next to the ident.

The expanded panel displays campaign details including:

  • Advertiser
  • Agency
  • Campaign Name
  • JCN
  • Launch Date
  • First Transmission Date
  • Last Transmission Date
  • Title
  • RCC Number

Download Audio

To download audio:

  1. Open the delivery details.
  2. Select Download Audio.
  3. Save the file to your preferred location.

We can deliver directly to an S3 bucket or FTP. Get in touch if you would like this to be setup for your station.

Preview Audio

Before downloading, you can play the audio directly within the platform using the built-in audio player.


Download Campaign Documents

Supporting campaign documents are available within the delivery details screen. These may include:

  • Rotation instructions
  • Clearance certificates
  • Campaign paperwork
  • Other supporting documentation

To download a document:

  1. Open the delivery details.
  2. Locate the Documents section.
  3. Select the required file.

Add or Update a Cart Number

If your broadcast system uses cart numbers:

  1. Open the delivery details.
  2. Enter the cart number in the Cart Number field.
  3. Select Submit.

You can choose where a cart number appears in a file name under Preferences


Pending Deliveries

The Pending section displays deliveries that have been ordered but are not yet available for download.

Once audio or documentation becomes available, the delivery automatically moves to your Inbox.

Delivery Statuses

The status column shows delivery progress and identifies any outstanding actions.

Example statuses include:

  • QC Pending
  • Awaiting Audio
  • Awaiting Documentation

Available statuses may vary depending on the delivery workflow.


Archive Deliveries

To keep your Inbox organised, archive deliveries once all required assets have been downloaded.

Archive a Delivery

  1. Open the delivery details.
  2. Select the Archive checkbox.

The delivery will be removed from your Inbox and stored in the Archive section.

Restore a Delivery

To return a delivery to your Inbox:

  1. Open the archived delivery.
  2. Clear the Archive checkbox.

If a delivery appears to be missing, check the Archive section first. A colleague may have already downloaded and archived it.


Preferences

The Preferences section allows you to customise how downloaded audio files are named.

Available filename properties include:

  • Advertiser
  • Product
  • Company
  • Cart Number
  • Ident Number
  • Title
  • Filename

Set Filename Order

  1. Navigate to Preferences.
  2. Select Add Filename Property.
  3. Add the required fields.
  4. Arrange them in your preferred order.
  5. Save your changes.

Example

A filename structure could be configured as:

  1. Advertiser
  2. Product
  3. Ident Number

Example output: Advertiser_Product_ADSRABC123.wav
