Favourite Filters can be accessed from the 'Assets' tab within the Library module. Favourite filters can be set at both user-level and business unit level.
Filters set by the users at the user level are user's private filters and any filters set at the business unit level by the admins are global favourite filters that are applicable to all users within the business unit.
User-level favourite filters
The 'Favourite Filters' section in the filter panel provides the ability to group fields together that are commonly used. Users can manually set these fields once and the system will save the changes to their account.
Favourite filters section in the filter panel is used to:
- Add favourite filters
- Edit favourite filters
- Reset Filter
- Remove Filters
Add new Favourite Filters
Users can select the BU for which they want to set favourite filters and click on Add new link, on clicking the link an inlay screen will be displayed to the user with the filter menu.
Note: If the user’s business unit has any global favourite filters set, then the system will load the global favourite filters by default.
Edit Favourite Filters
To edit the favourite filters, users can click on “Edit” link. They can select and deselect the filters and click on “save” button. On successful edit the filter count will be updated based on the user selection and users can see the updated listing.
Reset Filters
Reset filters link can be used to reset the user favourite filters to global favourite filters.
To reset the favourite filters, users can click on “Reset Filter” link. On clicking, a confirmation pop will be displayed to the user stating “Reset will remove any favourite filters added by you and set it to the default BU filters. Are you sure you want to continue?”
By clicking on the “Ok” button, user’s private filter will be removed and system will load the global favourite filters set at the BU level.
Remove All Filters
To remove all the applied filters, the user can uncheck the fields one by one or can click on “Deselect all” link to remove the selected filters and save the settings. The applied favourite filters will be successfully removed.
